| Born on February, 8th 1957, Drezdenko. Studied at State Art College in Poznań in the years 1976-1981. Diploma with honours in 1981. In 1984 granted the State Art College scholarship of M. Dokowicz for the best diploma of the year 1981. Since 1982 at the Department of Graphics of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Mikołaj Kopernik University in Toruń. Since 1995 Head of Serigraphy Studio at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań. Between the years 1996-1999 Head of Graphics Department of AFA in Poznań and in 1999-2002 Deputy Dean and Dean of the Faculty of Painting, Graphics and Sculpture. 2002-2008 Dean of the Faculty of Printmaking. Professor. Between the years 1983-2008 organized 54 individual graphics exhibitions and participated in 238 collective exhibitions, some of them international in Poland and abroad. Winner of over twenty awards in the scope of printmaking. Co-organizer of the All-Polish Biennial of the Student Graphics in Poznań, participant (Impact 3 Helsinki / Finland 2001 and Impact 5 Tallinn / Estonia 2007) and organizer of the International Conference of Printmaking IMPACT 4 Kontakt Poznań–Berlin 2005, juryman 8 Quadriennale of the All-Polish Woodcut in Olsztyn 2003, Curator of the International Triennial of the Graphics – Colour in the Graphic Art in Toruń 2003 and 2006, the Member of the Organizational Committee and the juryman All-Polish Triennial of the Graphic Art in Katowice 2006. |
